2003 Children

In 2003, Childspring provided medical care to nearly 60 children and launched an educational scholarship program for those that had never attended school from 10 countries.

These children returned home with a new lease on life and an opportunity to become productive members of their community.

EDITH > from Haiti

We believe that Edith stepped in ant poison which ate the skin from her legs. When voodoo rituals did not cure the resulting infections, her legs had to be amputated.

FREDDY > from Paraguay

Today, there is a young man in Paraguay walking with pride and confidence who believes that the love of strangers can change lives. This young man is Freddy, a sixteen-year-old boy from Paraguay who came to Atlanta for treatment to repair his severely clubbed feet. Freddy hoped for a healthy life but never dreamed it would include a scholarship to finish highg school.
