2008 Children
In 2008, Childspring Internationalprovided medical treatment
to 198 children from 18 countries. These children now have
opportunities for a better life due to the physical healing
that took place in their lives. Many children will also
be healed mentally through the gift of a Childspring educational
scholarship.
We encourage you to read these stories to learn more about
our mission and how medical care and educational scholarships
are providing spiritual and emotional healing to children
from around the world.

Jude - Haiti
Jude is a sixteen year old boy from Haiti who came to the
United States for heart surgery. His friendly and fun-loving
personality has eased Jude’s adjustment to life in the US
and brought great joy to all who have had the pleasure to
meet him. Our thought and prayers are with him as he awaits
his heart surgery date in Atlanta.

Melissa - Honduras
Melissa, a 13-year-old girl from Honduras, had her left
eye removed as a small child due to an ocular tumor. After
this surgery, though now healthy, Melissa’s eyelid drooped,
giving her eyes a mismatched appearance. Melissa went to
Tennessee and underwent surgery and received a brand new
eye, facing each appointment with calm and composure beyond
her young age. Melissa was able to return home to Honduras
at the end of August, just in time to celebrate her 13th
birthday with her family and show off her brand new look.

Ethopia, was diagnosed with a severe heart condition did
not allow her to run and play like other children. Betty
arrived in Atlanta in early August to have heart surgery.
She had a speedy recovery and is doing great. She now has
the confidence todo anything in life mentally as well as
