2005 Children
In 2005, Childspring International provided medical care
to nearly 80 children from more than 14 countries.

Esther - Haiti
Four-year-old Esther came to Georgia in September
of 2004 for surgery to straighten her spinal cord. Both
surgeries were successful and now Ester walks tall with
a big smile.

Nilton - Colombia
Nilton is a 10 year old boy from Colombia who had
swallowed a caustic agent as a toddler. The poison burned
his entire gastro-intestinal tract. His treatment in Colombia
included several surgeries which left him with a feeding
tube that went into his intestines. He was only able to
receive formula in small doses several times a day but even
so, Nilton only weighted 33 pounds when he arrived in 2004.

Blanda - Haiti
Nine-year-old Blanda was born with a severely deformed
ear, and consequently was abandoned by her parents. Through
Childspring International, Blanda was able to have her ear
surgically reconstructed and has now returned to school
in Haiti with new hearing aids that enable her to hear for
the first time in her short life.
2004 Children
In 2004, Childspring International provided medical
care to nearly 70 children and educational scholarships
to more than 40 children representing 16 countries.

Abreham - Eithiopia
Abreham, who had surgery to remove a cyst from behind
his left eye, charmed nurses, comforted other children in
the hospital and shared his love with all who supported
him during his stay. Abreham returned home in 2004 and continues
to gain vision in his eye. Once considered a curse on his
family and village because of his physical appearance, Abreham
is now blessed as a miracle by all who know him.
