Our Programs

Many children around the world have medical conditions that affect their self image, and how others perceive them. Because of how they look or due to their physical limitations, these children are often shunned by their own communities - sometimes even by their own families. They have poor self esteem, no hope, and no way of dealing with their pain or limitations.

In many cases, these medical conditions can also seriously impair a child's ability to function. Some Childspring children are injured in accidents, burned by fire, or have developed conditions such as tumors and other disfigurements. Very few of these children have ever been to a doctor in their lives and the parents have no options but to wait and hope for the best. Childspring is a faith based international children's medical organization that can step into the picture and offer children healing today and hope for more tomorrows.

Childspring helps families acquire birth certificates, passports, and visas for the child to come to the USA for the medical treatment they need. We petition doctors and hospitals to provide the most modern and technologically advanced treatments for the children. Childspring host families are there to love, nurture, protect, and guide the children through their new and often frightening experience.

After Children are Helped
After completion of the medical treatment, the children return to their own countries. While it is a sad time for the host families who have opened their hearts and homes to their Childspring children, it is also a time of joy. Not only have the children received life-changing or life-saving medical treatment, but they now will have a future as accepted and valuable members of their own communities. Through the generous donations of hospitals, doctors, host families, airlines, etc…

Childspring International is able to spend over 94% of every donation directly on programs to help the children. In 2007, every $1 donated was leveraged into $38.00 worth of program services.
