Childspring International counts our community of volunteers as some of our most valuable resources. If you would like to use your time and talent to make a global impact, one child at a time, check out the opportunities below.

Office Support

Volunteer opportunities are available in our Atlanta office Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Training in the office’s day-to-day operations is provided. We ask that volunteers choose a consistent time to volunteer (i.e. every Tuesday afternoon) and to be comfortable making and answering phone calls.

If you are interested in becoming a Childspring Office volunteer, please contact Darryl Payne at darryl@childspringintl.org or (404) 228-7744.

Special Events

Event Volunteers make a crucial contribution to the mission of Childspring. Help host Childspring’s exciting fundraising events, such as the Childspring Challenge Golf Tournament and the Annual Gala. Volunteer opportunities for groups or individuals
include coordinating, publicizing, and managing the event, setting up the venue, facilitating the smooth progression of the event, and restoring the venue to its pre-event state.

If you are interested in becoming a Childspring event volunteer, please contact Darryl Payne at darryl@childspringintl.org or (404) 228-7744.

Childspring Ambassador

Childspring Ambassadors host small events to introduce friends and colleagues to Childspring. This is a great opportunity to work with a variety of people, clubs, churches and organizations.

If you are interested in becoming a Childspring Ambassador, please contact Darryl Payne at darryl@childspringintl.org or (404) 228-7744.

Become A Host Family

Feel called to welcome a Childspring child into your home during his or her treatment in the U.S.?

Host Family volunteers will attend an orientation session, which details the responsibilities of caring for a child while he or she is in the US for medical treatment (transporting the child to doctor’s appointments, attending to medical needs after surgery, etc). Host families will be asked to make a 4-6 week commitment to host a child in their home. If your family is interested in opening its heart and home to a child, complete the Host Family Application Form and email it to Susan Wanserski at susan@childspringintl.org.

If you’re a medical professional and would like to get involved with treating children, please email Susan Wanserski at susan@childspringintl.org.
